Danny Price

is best known for his work as a dancer and choreographer with some of the world’s most famous performers including: Janet Jackson, David Bowie, Prince, Bobby Brown, Goldie, N-Joi and Run DMC. He has also worked over the last decade with students and teachers, in schools, further education colleges and in community settings across the UK. During this time he has built a reputation for being able to inspire and engage boys and girls from a wide range of abilities and interests. He has an infectious personality, limitless energy and love of all things dance. His mission through the Total Dance organisation is to demonstrate the central role that dance can play in social, emotional and physical development of our children and young people. Danny leads a team of talented Dance teachers and choreographers many of whom balance their time teaching and continuing to perform at the highest level on stage.

Lauren

Lauren Mannion

walked in to an audition straight from club-land and we could see her potential, this bundle of life is a pleasure to be working with and it shows in the respect she receives form her learners. A Rochdale girl through and through Lauren brings energy and attitude to her teaching, making young people want to dance is her joy and we are proud to have her on the team. Formally trained at Hopwood House (Rochdale) she is currently finishing her 2nd year, Lauren is working closely with Total Dance to keep ahead of her studies as this is very important to us. Her distinctive chunky style of street dance is low centre based and young people find her work very accessible, strong choreographies keep her learners coming back for more and more.

Craig Kemp

brings a teaching style from 10 years experience in his field, his hip hop style of choreographies very popular on today’s urban dance scene. This Warrington B Boy found his love of dance through break-dancing and realised he wanted much more, putting the routines together with his crew is where he discovered his success in teaching and he soon crafted his trade. Being crowned world champion at the ‘Winter Gardens’ In Blackpool is a feather in his cap, and we enjoy being part of the journey he has decided on in the world of dance.

Bethany

Bethany Lynch's

love of dance took her in to the world of Latin and ballroom, and then she was given the opportunity to attend Phil Winston’s Theatreworks (Blackpool) after 2 years at Oldham College. Now in her second, year she is looking forward to completing her 3rd and final year next year, making the future look like a very exiting time as Beth will have finished her training and heading for the West End.

Although still in training she has amassed a wealth of amateur and professional experience working in and around the industry; 'Best Of Broadway' with Seran Jones (Coronation street), Star 3 in Ballroom and Latin. Hard to reach Youth Groups, Holiday programs, Unity In the Community initiatives, with one at New bridge special school. Ballroom and Latin competition came 1st in my medallist ballroom and 4th in my medallist Latin. Over all got through to the semi final. Dance day at church in the holidays for local children 2007.

Being a member of the Total Dance team only fuels her passion for bringing people into dance and her distinct ‘girl based’ choreography. Beth has a flair bringing out the best in female movers (although boys don’t complain) her Latin technique flows through every finish and it is clear to see why learners love her – just like us!

Mike

Mike Sogbetun

has come along way from practicing in his friend's basement and being commonly known as his tag name “Wise“ with his first crew called “Kids from the Sticks" back in the early 90’s. His break-dance talents grew in to love for his work along with his successes as a youth inclusion support worker, and we’re all sure that he won’t be done until he achieves the position of regional Dance specialist for the local area and council where he resides right now. Mikes credits are many from providing break dance sessions for Billingham College of Performing Arts back in 2001, to presently flying all over Europe delivering dance with Total Dance and studying for a degree in community dance.
